Illusion Farm Shire Mares

Illusion Farms Miss Congeniality
"Ali"
D.O.B. 5/1/2008
Sire: Illusion Farms Mister Sampson
Dam: Shirley's Pride Of The Scots

Ali is what we have dreamed of producing. She is modern, big and can stomp with the best of them all while maintaining great feminine character. Shown just a few times in her yearling year she took the show ring by storm as a two year old. At three regional shows she stood Jr.Champion mare and at two of those three she was Res. Grand Ch. Mare. She was also Grand Ch. Mare over all breeds at the Fryeburg Fair which hosts a large number of Draft Horses of exceptional quality. We look forward to having her in the ring as a 3 year old in 2011. Ali is a full sister to our young stallion Illusion Farms Last Tango.

Illusion Farms American Idol  "Merrik"
D.O.B. 4/18/2008
Reg # 24443-M
Sire: Illusion Farms Mister Sampson
Dam: Cubley Zoe

Merrik is a fancy mare with all the chrome that did very well as a yearling and stood second to her half sister Ali as a two year old. She was Caitlin's Junior Show mare and they had a good year. Caitlin and Merrik are shown winning first place at Addison County fair, one of the regionals we attended this year. Merrik is correct and is a good moving mare with elegance to spare.

Illusion Farms Bittersweet  "Myla"
Reg# 24471-M
D.O.B. 4/13/2009
Sire: Illusion Farms Mister Sampson
Dam: Cubley Zoe

Myla is an exceptional filly with tremendous size. Shown a few times last year winning her class at Skowhegan and KILE as a weanling and a few first and seconds as a yearling. All this while standing nearly as big as the two year old mares. We look forward to her maturity when she gets completely coordinated. She has great bottoms, is heads up and is a powerful mover with a lot of lift. We expect great things from her in the future. She is a full sister to Merrik.
